"Cheap hotel, and Vancouver" are not words you often use in the same sentence when talking about hotels in Vancouver.

So? Can you get a cheap hotel room in Vancouver anymore?

Depending on the time of the year it is possible to find a hotel room in Vancouver for under $100 a night. Lots of things have to go right for you to be able to do this but it is possible. On this page you�ll find a list of hotels that offer affordable budget accommodation in Vancouver.

When I did my research into these hotel properties my parameters were double occupancy, 2 night stay in the middle of the week and it was during the late winter, early spring in 2008. Roughly around the NHL trade deadline.

The scenario in my mind was two people flying into Vancouver for a mid week hockey game at GM Place. They would fly in the day before the game and check out the sites and stay overnight. Then the next day they would go to the game, stay overnight again and then fly out the next morning.
