In every corner of downtown there is usually something always happening and it keeps the city busy and flowing with it's energy. You will get to celebrate a Chinese New Year one day and see Santa arrive on his sled in the annual Christmas parade another. Halloween Concert
Jubilate! Chamber Choir presents Songs In the Key of EEK!, a family Hallowe’en concert & costume party, Monday October 29, 7:30pm, at Jericho Arts Centre,1675 Discovery St. & SW Marine Dr., Vancouver.

Musical offerings include Jaako Mantyjarvi’s Double, Double Toil and Trouble, The Devil and the Farmer’s Wife, and frightening tunes from Broadway.

Tickets ($18 adults, $15 seniors/students, $5 children under 13) are available from www.vtix.com, or at the door. The concert begins at 7:30pm. Partial proceeds will benefit UNICEF.

Stanley Park Hallowe'en Ghost Train
Oct 6 to Nov 1Thousands of passengers show up at the Ghost Train each October to experience a thrilling ride deep into the heart of the forest. The deep dark woods are transformed into an eerie and wildly creative world by the artists of Mortal Coil Performance Society.
