September 2008 is Italian month in Western Canada!

This year, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada is organizing its 6th – and bigger than ever - annual “FLAVOURS OF ITALY”, a month-long celebration of Italian food and wine.

This year’s annual celebration of Italian food and wine will raise funds to benefit the Vancouver Playhouse Theatre Company.

For this purpose, on Wednesday September 24th 2008
at Marriot Pinnacle Hotel - 1128 West Hastings Street, there will be:

- a consumer wine tasting reception from 6 to 8 pm
- a gala dinner from 8 to 11pm.

The reception will feature over 120 wines poured by 20 wine agents. The gala dinner will showcase authentic Italian gourmet specialties paired with the finest Italian wines. Guests will have the chance to network while sampling some of the best wines available in Canada and some superlative wines not yet distributed here.

The prices are as follows:
Gala dinner members - $95
Gala dinner non-members - $115
