Lonely Planet called this hostel "…the newest and hippest hostel in town!" We've pulled out all the stops by building a massive brand new kitchen upstairs, a huge funky common area and featuring, the one and only, Beaver Restaurant and Pub...the best backpacker hang out in North America.

American Backpackers Hostel

Location: 347 West Pender Street, Downtown Vancouver.

People wonder why this hostel is so cheap? There are a few things that makes our hostel quite a bit different then the others ones out there. We don't run it like a hotel and we don't have a 24 hour check in. The summer office hours are from 9 AM to 11 PM with lunch break from 1PM to 4PM. You get the key and you can come and go as you please anytime and there is no curfew to follow.

St. Clair Hotel

St. Clair Hotel built in 1911 by Henry Pybus, Captain of the Empress of Japan Canadian Pacific Steamships. The hallways depict pictures of passenger liners - giving the hostel a nautical theme.

Cambie Heritage Hostels

Locations: 300 Cambie St. or 515 Seymour Street. Downtown Vancouver.

The Cambie Heritage Hostel is home to one of Vancouver's busiest and most diverse bars. Rock and Roll, Hip Hop, Classics, Big-Hair Metal, and pretty much everything else resounds off the jukebox nightly. Students, artists, scenesters, hipsters and professionals (basically everyone) pack the bar every night so it is never the same.If you are looking for something a little more calm, chilled and laid back check out our other hostel on 515 Seymour Street.
