If you would like to list your business in Eye On Vancouver's local business directory, this is the place to do that. If your business should be in more than one category, no problem - you may list in more than one category if you need to.

When you list your business with Eye On Vancouver you will create your own webpage on this site. The page that you create will be interactive. This means that visitors to your page may post comments or ask questions when they visit your page. This also means that you may want to add a comment yourself to alert any visitor to your page to any promotions, specials or sales that your business is involved with.

Our business listings are free and open to local Vancouver and area businesses in these areas:

West Vancouver

Regretably, if your business falls outside these areas you will not be accepted into the directory.

All listings and comments have to be approved by me before they go live on the site. There are a couple of reasons for this. 1) I check out each website before it goes live on the site. I'm checking for relevancy but also for spyware, viruses and the like and also redirects to questionable sites. The second reason (2) is I check the location of each business. I get an unbelievable amount of listing requests from other countries and cities. They get deleted. I only allow businesses to list if they are in the Vancouver area.

There maybe a small handful of listings that fall outside this area but they were accepted before I changed my listing policies. It's not fair to delist them because of changes I made after I listed them.

When you list your business you can put whatever details you want in your business listing. Eye On Vancouver recommends that you be as descriptive as possible. The idea is for you to get the click to your site, get the phone call, get the email enquiry, get the visitor into your business. What you write and the details you provide will go a long way towards you recieving any benefit from your listing on Eye On Vancouver. Of course we won't accept anything pornographic, hate filled, racist, illegal and malicious and the final decision to list you rests solely with Eye On Vancouver. As a general guideline if you can't say it or show a picture of it to a kindergarten class you probably shouldn't include it in your listing.
