My employer offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for all of it's employees. In a previous time when I used to
be a Union shop steward employees I have represented have made use of the counselling services offered by the EAP program. I have seen some people
go through some pretty rough life situations go through a counselling session and came out of it with some clear direction on how to get through
their own rough patches. So I have a healthy respect for counsellors of all specialties.
